The best youth soccer tournament in the world just keeps getting better. It is definitely arguable that the Super Group for Dallas Cup XXXVI could be the most talented ever announced. Eight countries are represented in the field. Play opens on Sunday March 29th at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas with a triple header.
Sunday's opening match features the well respected FC Dallas Youth Academy facing off with Brazilian powers Corinthians. The second match of the day pits Tigres of Mexico battling Valencia FC from Spain. After the opening ceremonies the featured game of the evening is defending champions River Plate from Argentina against England's Everton FC. It should be a brilliant day of soccer!
The Super Group is twelve teams broken into three brackets of four teams each. The group winners along with the highest finishing second placed side advance to semifinal play.
