Manchester United will once again be touring the United States this summer as they prepare for the fall start of the English Premier League season. They will be playing three MLS sides during the tour as well as facing off against the MLS All Stars. The highlight of the trip though will be a July 30th tilt in Washington DC against Barcelona.
Man U announced Tuesday that the Red Devils will face the New England Revolution on July 13 at Foxborough, Mass. Then hey will face off with the Chicago Fire on July 23 at Soldier Field. It is part of an exhibition tournament known as the World Football Challenge. Manchester United's game against the Seattle Sounders, which is not part of the tournament, will be July 20 in Seattle.
The MLS All Star game welcomes the EPL giants for the second year in a row. Last year Man U defeated the all stars 5-2 in a highly entertaining match. This year the MLS All Star game is July 27 at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, NJ. Finally, the highest profil match of the trip will take place in our nation's capital on July 30th when Manchester United faces off against powerful Barcelona.
