Landon Donovan makes his point

Did you hear that Jurgen Klinsmann?  That was the sound of your big mistake.  Landon Donovan hammered it home Sunday night at The Home Depot Center as he scored a goal and assisted on another in the LA Galaxy's 4-1 win over the Philadelphia Union.

With his 49th minute goal Donovan became the leading scorer in MLS history with a whopping 135 goals to his credit.  Donovan had already notched an assist earlier in the match on the Juninho goal in the 2nd minute.

Oh wait.  According to Klinsmann there are 23 other players better that are going to represent us at the World Cup.  Yeah right.  Come on man!

And the response from the Galaxy fans?  A very loud and passionate chant of "F@$k YOU, Klinsmann."  Point made.

But then came another.  Just as coach Bruce Arena was ready to sub Landon off he went and scored another!  His 2nd of the match and 136th of his MLS career.  With the score now 4-0 Landon left the field to a rousing cheer of "USA! USA!"

Hear that Klinsmann?
