Champions League Knockout Draw - PSG v Barca & Arsenal v Bayern

The knockout draw is done and we know who is facing off in the Champions League round of 16.  The big news is certainly the Arsenal draw.  Their reward for winning their group for the first time since 2011?  A matchup with Bayern Munich. Wow! How great is that going to be?  We'll see if the Arsenal defense can hold up against the powerful Germans.

The other juicy pairing is Paris St Germain facing off against Barcelona.  Barca vice president Jordi Mestre to beIN SPORTS: "PSG are an old acquaintance, they're not an easy team to play at all. Until now, things have gone well when we've faced them, but every season is different. In the Champions League there are no easy teams. Out of who we could have drawn, Bayern were the most difficult, but PSG are a great team."

Defending champions Real Madrid got a nice draw as they will face Italian side Napoli. It will be a tall order for the Italians as Real Madrid is on an unbeaten run of a ridiculous 35 games!

Manchester City avoided the big boys but got a tricky draw against Monaco.  City director of football Txiki Begiristain said: "It's always difficult to say whether it's a tough or easy draw. We are happy to be here. Monaco are doing well, they have good players, good talent, young players and they are playing some of the best football in France."

The other matchups look extremely competetive.  Atletico Madrid, last season's runners-up, take on German side Bayer Leverkusen, while Juventus will play Porto. Premier League champions Leicester City will take on Europa League holders Sevilla after winning their group, and Portuguese giants Benfica play Borussia Dortmund.

The first legs will take place on Feb. 14, 15, 21 and 22, and the second legs will take place on March 7, 8, 14 and 15.
